1. Who we are
Mighty Packaging Ltd is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC892586), with its registered office at 72 Wallace Street, Glasgow G5 8DU. Our trading address is 365, 6 Whitworth Street, Openshaw, Manchester M11 2GR.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every quotation we give and every order we accept, for business customers. We don’t accept other terms unless we agree to them in writing.
3. Quotations and orders
- A quotation is valid for the period shown on it (30 days if none is shown).
- A contract starts when we confirm your order in writing or by email.
- Prices exclude VAT, which we add at the rate in force on the invoice date.
4. Custom and printed packaging
We only start production once you have approved the artwork proof. You are responsible for checking the proof, including spelling, dimensions and colours. Industry tolerances apply to printed and made-to-order quantities (usually ±10%) and are invoiced at the actual quantity delivered. Custom items can’t be cancelled once production has started.
5. Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates. Please check deliveries on arrival and tell us about shortages or visible damage within 2 working days.
6. Payment
Unless you have a credit account, payment is due before dispatch. Credit account invoices are payable within the terms shown on the invoice. We may charge statutory interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7. Ownership and risk
Risk passes to you on delivery. Goods stay ours until we have been paid in full.
8. Faulty goods and returns
If goods are faulty, tell us within 14 days and we will replace them, repair them or refund you. Unused stock lines can be returned within 30 days with our agreement; custom and printed items cannot be returned unless faulty.
9. Our liability
We don’t exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can’t be excluded by law. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the price of the goods concerned, and we are not liable for loss of profit or indirect loss.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Scots law, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction.
